Interreg IIIA Italia – Slovenia Programme is an EC tool for promoting the projects of cross-border co-operation of partners from Italy and Slovenia. In September 2004, Arctur was the only Slovene company to prepared a bid for the tender for design and implementation of Interreg Programme portal; other six proposers were from Italy. Arctur's project was rated very high especially for technical quality, which was one of the main criteria for selection of the most suitable offer.

Arctur's experts analysed the user requirements and planned the structure of the portal. The user interfaces graphic design was also devised, and finally the system was technically realised and implemented. Interreg Programme portal is built on dynamic technologies, enabling the Project Office staff total control over the wide array of multi-language contents. Portal provides the means to promote the Programme and Calls for tenders included into it, and to communicate with the participants of various projects. A number of tools are also included to facilitate internal communication between Programme Office members.

Representatives of Friuli Venezia Giulia regional authorities – leading the Interreg Programme together with Veneto Region from Italy, and National Agency for Regional Development from Slovenia – complimented Arctur for efficiency and technical expertise during mutual efforts of past couple of months.
